evovin---had it going on getting into the 10's with some issues. What can he do when he get's those issues figured out? Great going....His Evo is not only fast but super clean and well thought-out and put together. Class Act
I took a few shots yesterday amidst trying to meet everyone and help out where I could. All in all was a great showing for Evos.
"evovin" getting all aggressive at the launch
Some more pics of "evovin" and the other cars at the .....link----->2009 IFO in Montgomery Al.<-----Link

Congrats man on the 10 sec slip! I am sure that without the misfire your runs would have being even lower!
Useful undos on the Mazda rims too. Do you have coilovers on the car?
I had an idea from the Mazda rims but I am not sure if it could work... I checked tirerack to find which 16 inch rims fit the rx7 in 16" which is the factory size. I know tirerack only matches wheels that fit according to the factory specs. If the original wheels fit the evo, shouldn't all wheels that fit the Mazda fit the evo with spacers too?
I saw that there are kosei k1ts in 16" that fit the Mazda and their spokes are on the outer side of the wheel. Maybe with the 20mm spacers will fit the evo better? What do you guys think? Does anyone know a place we can go and try the fitment on the evo?

If you search a while back i posted up a pic from the boys down in PR that had Chuccos silver Evo (i believe) that had the FD rims on there.
I asked about them and got no response.
W/ the weight and need for spacer i decided to go w/ the small brakes to fit whatever size rim/tire combo i wanted and i'm not so sure those type of spacers are NHRA legal but that's besides the point.
Congrats on the 10 sec pass Vin!
Have you spoken to Craig about the missing issue? What was your gap at?
We had a road race Evo a couple years back that ran only Sunoco stuff and it went through plugs pretty often..........glad i'm on E85 now!
Edit: Maybe someone should start up another thread for us slower guys that don't make the top 18-20 list LOL........there used to be one for the 10.99-10.00 i believe ...........gotta go 9.90 @ 150+ to make it .......lot's of fast evo's out now!

gap at first couple pas was .019 then I put new plugs and gapped .015 Mark even guided me to add more ignition on the aem. We are positive that the misfires was cause by Sunnoco fuel because I have the same issue when I had BR COP and running Sunnoco couple months ago.
