Unhappy Evovin's first on 10's....but not satisfied!

I ran the Evo yesterday at IFO in Montgomery.

Best et 10.90@129mph (race gas but misfiring)

Best trap 135mph (race gas but misfiring) et was 11.06

Best trap on pump gas was 131mph

Best 60ft 1.58

Mark @ TTR did a quick tune(via emal) @39psi but goes down to 36-37psi due to my leaking TB shaft seal Timing are also low. Tune was very conservative and AFR was 10.98-11.04 all the way on top.

Shop ran out of VP C16 so I used Sunnoco 116 octane and forgot to mention it to Mark. This was the reason why I was misfiring according to Mark/Keith.

Tire pressure was 11psi Front and 12psi Rear. It was very hard to control launching it. My 2 step was 7400 and making 28-30psi boost. I keep missing gears also don't know if its because my clutch was getting hot from the hard launch.

Ill post vid later. Pics for now!

What spacers are those in the front? Do you have to do anything for the rear? Man I want a set of those rims and tires.

10's

Congrats on the 10's. Gotta post up some vids.

Love the pic with the crew. Pretty sick lookin' crew with the R8, M3, and two red Evo's. Did they run too? If so, what times?

Like the clown driver in the red IX.

Congrats on the new times! Those RX7 rims will work but they will scuff the top edge of the stock Brembos. Real close fit

nope! I did scuff it at first but just found out that they have a diff off set. Make sure that the ones say #50 in the rims goes to your front and the ones without #50 goes to the rear.
