evo x traction problems

evo I've got the same issue with mine. My two step is at 6500, I'm spinning like a bandit upon launch and am dealing with 2nd gear lock out myslef. I'm going to replace my x front rotors and callipers for a set off an 8 and drop a set of 17's on the car with some drag radials and see where that takes me.

I'm about to do the same thing to my car.I've been holding of because I wasn't sure how different it wold be but I just drove the extremeboost evo and it drove just fine ,my calipers and rotors are on their way.

I am having some issues with traction as well. 6,000rpm launch seeing 8-10psi off the line. I do have good tires Toyo R1R's which are very soft, but the stiff sidewall isn't helping I guess. I will probably try my snow's out at the track in the spring to see if they make a difference off the line. The sidewall's are so much softer it's like a luxury car now.

Also, are you guys messing with the tarmac, gravel, snow settings? What seems to be the concensus for drag racing?

im going to try all 3 settings and tell you the outcomes..right now im on gravel but the boys in canada said snow does the trick
