We are on the way to the track as we speak. Just got an update from the CFT/Procco Evo camp. First pass 9.0@159



Hopefully the team will get the monkey off their backs today. 8's or bust today

We will try and keep the race fans up to date as the day unfolds.

Also the BVP Evo X will be in attendance...maybe we will see the current evo X record fall today. Who knows maybe even the first 9 sec pass. Good luck to ALL the race teams participating today.

Update:

CFT / Procco EVO has been consistent all day with a best time of 9.0 followed by a 9.10 @ 160..letting off to stay within his 9.0 dialed in time.

He just ran 9.4 @ 162.. letting off again to win the round - he's now dialed in at 8.95 for the finals... will keep you guys updated...

Final run.. 9.16 @162,, he red lit tho... up against a mid 7 sec rx7..

It was good to see the car go rounds and be so consistent! Looking at the incremental on the 9.10 pass, and seeing Sergio pull the shoot right after the 1000ft mark, there is no doubt it was on it's way to the 9s today. All in all a great day, the race car is in one piece, and took home 2nd prize. By the way, I have to mention the red civic made a best pass of 9.18 .. CONGRATS to the whole CFT crew!!!

Thanks Creg.. like you said It was good to see the car go round after round and be so consistent! Looking at the slip we ran 9.0 @159mph 1/4 with less boost on our 1st qualify run, with only 125miles on the 1/8 ; later that day on the finals Rolo and Omar dialed up the boost and we ran consecutive 130 / 131 on the 1/8 and let off on top. There is no doubt it we are just around the corner from running 8's, thanks to Sergio we gave a great show eliminating everyone on the quick16 category finals,unfortunately we don't have a line lock to hold the car when staging... so at the last elimination when staging Sergio red light we got 2nd place$$$$, All in all like Creg said a great day, the race car is running strong and ready for 8's Wednesday.

BVP broke the stock diff. The car was poised to break the current Evo X record without a doubt. Jestr tuning is making some Awesome power on that puppy that's for sure.
