Its hard to start a rule 7 years after the car came out.. Wouldnt be fair to have those grandfathered in with old record.. My opinion..

crcain, that's a tough one. I don't want to ruin this thread with the discussion. We've been lucky enough, and it does require some amount of luck, to back up our records over the years. Sometimes crap happens though, it's part of racing.

backing up records is hard stuff i know teams like mike buschur and others can do it but getting the record alone is hard enought and then all the people in the past who hit the record books it wouldnt be fair to add that rule in now

Yeah really sucks we didnt catch it before the race.. You know the timing belt always has that loose spot and until raceday it hadnt sat right there.. I could move the belt 1 tooth either way almost it was so loose.. You know me though.. I was like **** it run the car but the Mech Anthony wasnt going for it..
