TheSHOP / Kouzman 10s at last!!!
Long story short yesterday i installed my Apexi N1 coilover kit from Buschur Racing, which i thank a million times.
Then i decided to go with keeping my 17s instead of going with 16s and QTPs and i didnt really want to buy another set of rims to put the Hoosiers on the Koseis, so i got me a set of BFG T/A Drag Radials...
made 5 passes...
1st pass of the highway. Just lowered my tire pressure at 25psi all around

I knew that was the day... Checked the log, only 28psi in 4th gearshift, so i turned the bc up one turn...

The trap blew me away... picking more than 35mph in the backhalf i knew that the car was making POWER!
Not just that but i hit the 8900rpm rev limiter in 4th before i finish, probably i would say 30-40ft, before i see the finish light going on!!!
Also, after refreshing my gearbox with Shepherd i was able to make proper shift, but still NO POWERSHIFTING, not because i cannot but because i dont want it yet...
3rd pass i decided to go again with a tire pressure of 23psi all around and raised my rev limiter to 9100rpm...

The trap kept going up and the ET down, but still i was struggling with my 60ft...
4th pass again... From the beginning it felf that thats it, 10s, however my 31.8psi boost cut had a different opinion... Shifting in 3rd i hit it, shifting in 4th i hit it twice and then i let go... I knew that the pass was lost...

At this point, one of the track officials came and he told me, that my next pass would be my last one... "no more lower than 11.50..."
With that been sad i was a bit stresses bc i really wanted the 10sec slip... Lowered the boost controller a little just to tray and stay around 30psi and went for my 5th and last pass...

10 sec pass at last, with a crappy 1.77 60ft considering the drag radials, but hey, it was my first ever outing on such tires....
No powershifting, no magic, full interior except empty trunk, but tools, laptop, jackets, cameras, coffees.... i would guess that i had savings of 8lbs of the lighter tires and around 32lbs from the suspension so i would say that the car weighted around 3330-3340 with 1/2 tank.
Still on the stock unported head, stock intake manifold, stock throttle body, stock ingition except 1step colder NGK plugs and on 93 octane from the Gulf station near my house...

i knew that the car could trap higher since i was trapping 131-132mph on the "bad" gearbox...
The car still hasn't reached its max on pumpgas since i can still work on my 60ft (others do 1.5s on these tires), and i can even powershift and with a higher rev limiter the car might trap even higher...
Fot the time being i am just enjoy it and way it is!

That is just awesome, your car just shows more and more potential each time it is out. HAHA 134mph Quick shifting w/ Stock Head and Intake Mainfold. This car will easily go 136 with some powershifting and a nice cool night. Just get those 1.5 60ft and mid to low 10's coming up on 93 oct!

Yep Freddy! The car is still on the stock head / intake / throttle body and i dont really see the point of changing them! LOL

Thanks man! It was my fisrt time out on drag radials and i didnt know what to expect...
I knew that 25psi was on the high side for these tires, even 23psi when i tried to lower it...
I ill definitely try to play around with tire pressures, but i am really impressed how smooth the car leaves off the line with the Apexi coilovers! Buschur FTW!!!

What's up with granny style shifting? That car shouldve ran 10s all day. Haha.
One powerful set up you got. I wish I had a top end like that. 134 trap wow.
With me, once my right foot goes down, it's not coming back up til it's over.
I wouldve probably tried 20 psi or even 18 on those bfgs.
