Kouzman - Got the boot from Etown...
Finally i startd figuring out the BF Goodrich tires so i decided to go out once more and do some pumpgas testing.
Track temp ws excellent in the mid-high 50s, however we had a lot of head and cross wind and actually the Pro guys and bikes let them run only 1/8....
The car again full interior on 93 octane pumpgas...
First pass from the highway i just turned my mbc 1 turn and lowered tire pressure to 21psi all around....
No burn out and not flat shifting but regular full lift shifts...
rt 0.763
60ft 1.747
330ft 4.725
1/8 7.183
mph 98.83
1000ft 9.286
1/4 11.005
mph 131.96

Second pass i felt that the tire pressure can go even lower so i tried 20psi...
At that point i had to dial in a time because i had to run eliminations... On the side note the Test n Tune was 100 dollars which i found very expensive!!!
So i dial in 10.80 and go to the staging lanes. As soon as the track guy sees me, he says that my dial in has to be 11.50 because of no cage and no harness, so i knew that i would be eliminated because i would run faster... Ohhh well...
Second pass...
rt 0.550
60ft 1.719
330ft 4.628
1/8 7.039
mph 99.82
1000ft 9.103
1/4 10.800
mph 133.32
I actually rushed and shortshifted 3rd that way i guess the slow mph on the 1/8...
Quite happy especially on such windy day! Wish i had another pass or two and i am pretty sure that the time would go even lower since i was planning to burn out the tires on the next pass for extra stickiness...

Nice runs.. Your shifting is sounding pretty smooth! NLS next time you go out and get that 60ft down to 1.5's you go 10.4's for sure!
Yea Etown is strick on the rules.. Watch out cause next time they might not even give you a time slip and take your half of the slip from the other car you ran. They know all the tricks.. lol

i have to really decide what i want to do with the car... The only logical step is to get the cage and move on but i am not sure yet...
Shifting was indeed smooth. The only mistake i did was to shortshift 3rd on the second pass, but i haven't reviewed the logs yet.

Haha.. Kouzman your the best!! Time for a Magnus intake manifold buddy.
Congrats on the 10.8 pass... I guess we can add a few more 130+mph time slips to your collection over the past yr... Still on the same motor and tune
