AWD Motorsports Bastard EVO.. Knocking on the 8sec door on Stock ECU!!!! 9.14@159mph
Tonight was the 1st night out on the FP HTA XX T3 test turbo since we ran the hta82 for NSCRA.. We Have made some aero changes to the car and a few other little tricks and had the car dialed in around mid to low 800hp.. We took off nice and light for the 1st shakedown run and cut a 1.60 60ft ( Terrible ) and ran a 9.14@159mph.. Not bad for a pass that looked like a mid 9..
The 2nd pass Anthony was going for it and hit it hard from the hole and broke the rear diff.. We had been making a ton of passes on radials on that diff so it was time that it finally broke from all the tire hop.. Well get another rear back in the car and keep going til we get the 8 second pass we want on stock Ecu.. The math on the slip shows with a decent 1.40 60ft the car will run 8.7x-8.8 no problem and we still have 75 more hp in the car to go.. I wont be shocked to see an 8.69 on kill mode.. Our goal is 8 anything though on stock ecu..
Thanks to Crispeed for doing his crew chief job he loves, Derek for the tuning & Anthony for the nasty driving as always..

Not saying it's easy, but a few years ago it probably would have been a lot harder to get this close to 8s...with a great chance of breaking into the 8s. The stock ECU has advanced a lot in the last couple of years, making it more possible to set these kinds of benchmarks.

the changes that helped in the past few years were:
load limits being removed about a year ago, this became a problem at 600awhp for me and jcbanks is credited with the fix, he's my hero! Without this fix the stock ecu wasn't adding additional fuel beyond 380 load.
speed density more recently, I don't personally use it because I'm happy with 700+awhp on the stock ecu/mas but many have gone this route to make sure there's no intake restriction such as AWD Motorsports. I'll probably give it a whirl eventually.

I bet you make quite a bit more power on SD. We had a guy locally pick up about 14 whp on a stock 9 turbo setup on E85. It was tuned a while back, but it was brought back still running on the MAF and dynoed. Then the conversion was done and retuned the same day. Pretty impressive if you ask me!
