Thanks everyone for the congrats...it was definitely not an easy clear path to hitting 9's.
HUGE Thanks to Tirado Custom Coatings, STM, Buschur Racing, AWD Motorsports.
Modifications
JMS Racing Built 2.0
Buschur Racing Intake Manifold/ported 65mm TB/BFIC/2.5" IC piping
Buschur Racing Full 3 inch exhaust (with magnaflow muffler)
Buschur Double fuel pump/COP ignition system
Bushwacker 5-spd trans with Evo VIII 4th gear
STM Forward Facing Turbo Manifold with T3 PTE Billet 6765 .82a/r
Exedy Triple Disc Cerametallic with STM Fork Stop
ID2000cc Injectors/Fuel Lab FPR/stock fuel lines/E85
AWD D2 spec coilovers
Haltech PS2000 EMS (Special thanks to Crispeed for the launch control advice!)
Overall I'm very happy with how the car ran...we had about 5 passes in the 10.1-10.2 range having a hard time keeping the car to go straight. On the last pass we just tamed it a bit better.
Throughout the night we didn't have to do any mechanical fixes to the car..I just pulled the logs after every pass and made an adjustment here and there.
The trap speed I'm ok with given that there are a couple small boost leaks from some weak out t-bolt clamps..I said F it and ran the car anyhow.
The vehicle weight with the steel bolt-in cage/half tank of E85 is probably in the 3100 range without me and I weight 220. Boost would touch 36psi in the upper RPM's in 4th..for most part it would be in the 34-35 range.
I'm content with the single digit pass..Next up I want to make the trip to Ohio for the Buschur Shootout and have some fun there.
Just wanted to add also..the car on this setup has never been to the dyno. All street tuning done with the Haltech...we sure need a dyno lol.
Thanks to everyone again.

I do remember now reading the thread from "TakeaseEVOIXSE" about the race they entered but it was really really HOTT
Even more congrats to Jorge for getting it done in that weather (do the conditions change much when the sun goes down there?)
Def would love to see the slip incrementals

It was just a matter of time before they cracked the 9s. Im just glad there is a Texas evo in the 9s now hopefully we can join in... and be like the other fast evo states,

oh at that event, even JMS had issues. The heat plus we couldnt shift. (both my car and Jorge's car werent running there, but other evos from our respective shops were) Best we ever did before that event was 10.2 and they previously did a 10.0
