De ja vu.
I recall reading similier post on dsmtalk like it was yesterday lol. From the time you went from the 3065 to 3575 to t67 and beyond. The car just kept getting faster and faster.
I have a feeling that the evo will not stop at 9.50's. As soon as you go 9.4, the new target will be 8.9.
We are all watching Jake. Good luck.

Other than that CMI events are really all we have and with an Evo like yours it actually would be very competitve like mine as you end up racing mainly hi 9sec - low 10 sec Hondas.............def not worth the trip for $400
The only other race worth while (if money is what you're after) is the race sponsored by MFactory which has a pretty big prize for the "outlaw" shoot-out but the buy-in is a pretty penny and w/ competition like Jeff Bush's 1G i don't think we'd stand a chance

Ya sucks BOTI won't be there. Oh well. We thought about coming down to the outlaw shootout to watch. I'm not worried about payouts, I just wanna race and have fun. But I do want to goto an event that is worth my trip you know? I will let you know.

Just put the FP HTA3586r on today. And HOLY HELL!!!
The car picked up 87whp at the same boost level (29lbs) with just the turbo swap from the 30r to the hta86.
Amazingly enough, the turbo spools almost exactly the same as my 30r did!!
3rd gear logged 34lbs by 4850rpm.
Before in 3nd gear with the gt30r I was getting 22lbs by 4300rpm
now with the HTA 86 I am getting 22lbs by 4350rpm on the dot.
Full boost at 34lbs is coming in at 4850rpm with the HTA86
I will say the HTA86 feels like it spools quicker by the seat of my pants, but it's just hitting way harder then the 30r ever did.
Both the 30r and HTA86 are on .82 A/R tial SS v-band housings.
Right now at 34lbs the logs are showing a consistent 136-138whp gain over all.
Logs are also showing it has picked up 8-9mph from my 134mph pass I did a couple weeks ago. Car should trap 141-143mph depending on track conditions/weather ect.
I'm almost out of injector right now with the FIC bluemax 1450cc injectors at 94% duty with 2 modded walbro pumps in the tank with the dual line feed upto the rail.
Not to mention I'm getting a bit nervous about the eagle rods, but they have been holding up for crazy amount of abuse for the past 15k miles
Tuning today was in 90 degree weather, so the temps were about the same as when I ran the car at the track with the 30r.
I'm going to hit up the track in the next couple of weeks. I know the car will go 9's but I think I'm going to ease it out and just MPH my way down the track to try and avoid getting booted again I'm saving the 9sec pass for import vs domestic event we have here in sept.
I will post a new thread with the results!
