just wanted to say thanks for the entertainment last nite, i love watching that red rocket eating up the track, your all out attitude and driving skills with the car to match are to say the least are bone chilling its like just point and shoot!!! and congrats on tunning evosicks car joey should still be sporting a big ol woody devintuned ftw edged out the buschur car!

hey dude, seen ya at GLD fri. your car hauls axx man. I had the white evo but could only muster up a 11.7. I cant hook up off the line. I spin all of 1st and some of 2nd gear. I think i have to slip the clutch a little better. Hit me up next time you shoot out there and maybe i could hook up with ya guys. It was funny because my buddy was like, that car dont sound fast and i said, well he has slicks so i think that car is gonna mean business. then you staged the line and hit the 2step and he looked over at me with his eyes wide open and you layed down a 9.1, nice work

Devin, that 2g is a beast. I'd like to see what it would do with a better tire. Some MT's would be pretty nice.

LOL ya congrats to Joey V. (Evosick) he ended up going 9.93 @ 141 in his evo 9 Fp Black powered and DevinTuned.

11.7 nice you just need to get more seat time, no one was hooking on street tires that night.

Im trying to convince Keith (DSMKING) to let me use his 26" MTs, but he wants to pop the cherry on those bad boys. They are brand new. Do you know anyone that would let me use some nice tires for a couple passes?

Wow im just seeing this now!! I had a total blast in ohio and at the shootout. Devin helped me out alot - retuning my car on the street in ohio due to the diffrent blend of e85 there. Devin Tuned FTW!

update:

I went to RSD @ Greats Lakes Dragaway (WI) this past Friday with Joey (Evosick2332) and Jason (AngryEvo8). My car did really well and I cut three 1.3 60fts, but with an OEM gear set trans, I'm having problems getting into 2nd gear at 10,200 rpms. (My best for the nite was a 9.2) I've found a way to use the 2 step to launch the car, set the drag style anti lag to act as a rev limiter for just 1st gear at around 9,200ish, and then back to the normal rev limiter for 2nd-4th gears. I have to rev to 10K so I can trap the car in 4th gear but the trans just doesn't want to shift at 10K so hopefully this will help.

I think 8.80's are possible if I can keep the revs down in 1st gear, hit a 1.33 60 ft like I did this past Friday, and be able to get the car in 2nd gear nice and fast. I know that this is just a band aid for the fact that I need a dog box. I'll put one on my wedding registry.


Congrats to Evosick!! He ran his best @ RSD - 9.84 @ 145 in his Strictly Modified/DevinTuned ride.
