Front rotors are stock and rear are a set of lightweight wilwoods. I plan on purchasing a set of the lightweight GIRO race rotors for the front soon. Will save almost 18lbs of rotating mass and still allow me to use my stock Brembos.

I now have Apexi N1's on the car now.

Thanks for the nice comments!

what rpms are you spinning at? I have noticed all this 2.3, 2.4 builds with fp blacks and they seem to make great power but its the 2.0 is all I have been reading hitting 9s with the black.

wow so I guess if I really want to push my fp black setup I need to build a 2.0 or a 2.1 for best results. 2.3, 2.4 would be great for the street but I havent seen any hit 9s yet.

I thought the black doesnt make really any power after 8k?

Not to take this off topic but I have multiple 2.3 liter builds running in the 9's. John Shepherd is running 9.6's and Alan Szabo to name a few. Both of these guys are running and have been for more than two years, over my recommended 8500 rpm redline.

The 2.3 is an excellent engine, maybe my favorite actually. Don't get me wrong, for an all out high rpm engine it is not the best choice though.

good info dave, but how do you feel about a 2.3 fp black setup? I havent seen any 9sec runs yet. I know I have seen low 10s and it would be a killer street setup for a DD. So 8000rpm redline on a 2.3 max all day would be ok for long life of the engine or would you say 7500 on the streets and 8000-8500 for track?

also back to topic, Awsome runs man! I cant imagine what its like running through the traps a 140+mph
