My Buschur Racing Powered FP Black Goes 9.94 @ 144.3 MPH
First off I want to say THANK YOU to all of my sponsors!! David and Buschur Racing, you guys are the best! My motor is a beast and runs like a top! Robert at Forced Performance for the FP Black and FP5R camshafts! And thank you Dan at Bushwacker Transmission for an amazing shifting tranny.
As many of you may know I have been trying to get my car into the 9's for quite some time. Last fall I was one of the first to receive the Forced Performance FP Black and went 10.14 @ 136.75 MPH with around 550 whp on BR mustang dyno. I knew then that I had the chance to get my car into the 9's on a stock appearing turbo. Over the winter we made some changes to the car and all season I have been trying to get that 9 second pass. I had a few issues but as always you have to work through them and it finally paid off!
Last week I met David up at the shop and we put the car up on the dyno to tweak a few small items. At the end of the day the final numbers were 619 whp and 513 ft/lbs. I was very impressed with this and couldn't wait to get the car out to the track.
Tonight (8/27/10) we get to the track to make some passes. 2 passes in a row I bogged the hell out of the launch and didn't even bother making full passes. On the third pass of the night I go to start the car and it fires up but is only running on two cylinders. After about fifteen minutes of f'n around with everything I find out my HKS DLII decided it wanted to take a dumb. I was pissed and thought the night was over but made the call to try and make a pass anyway on the stock ignition. Car bogs still but I stay in it and holy **** the car goes 10.2 @ 143.xx MPH. I was simply amazed the OEM ignition held up so well. I'm pumped of course now and get right back in line. I raised the two step a little and do a practice launch/burnout and the car pulls forward like it should. I knew this pass was going to be good and I was correct.
1.4411 - 60 ft
4.2131 - 330 ft
6.0589 - ET @ 594 ft
6.4828 - 1/8 ET
106.15 - 1/8 MPH
8.3472 - 1000' ET
9.9488 - 1/4 ET
144.32 - 1/4 MPH
Finally a 9 second pass! I was going to make another pass but a lovely fight broke out and track officials decided that was it for the night for everyone. I still did not power shift and was lifting each gear. I am going to purchase a Buschur Racing COP soon. I know a 9.7 is possible as the car sits right now.

I will post some pics, mod list, and a dyno sheet of the car in the Evo Engine / Turbo / Drivetrain in the next day or two.

Wow. Over 144MPH and 9.9 seemingly granny shifting on 620WHP is impressive! Is your car full weight? Because by comparison, TTP's stripped "race trim" car couldn't go 10.10 OR 144MPH on 763WHP.
Good job dude!
