Douglas Autoworks in the 9's First Full Pass Ever
Friday night we had the drag car out at GLD as our first shake down attempts with the car under base boost. Starting with higher pressure in the slicks (19psi), and no two step, the car went 9.97 @ 143 Mph with a 1.63 60' piloted by Mike Reichen. After that pass the track ended up shutting down the lanes due to on and off misting. We're quite pleased with how the first ever full pass went with the car. We plan on doing more shake down runs in the next few days and will keep everyone updated on the progress!

At first I was made that I found an Evo that is certainly much lighter than mine, but then I realized it's a full out 100% race car, so I don't feel as bad
Congrats on a really cool looking project! That car should fly when you crank up the power!
