10.6@134 1st Time ever Driving down the 1/4. Thanks IVEYTUNE!!

I don't post much but I just wanted to tell my story so here it goes..

I have been to tracks plenty of times but have NEVER driven down the 1/4 in my life, on 10/23/10 I decided to bring my car to the Evo vs Sti Day@ Etown. Since I had never been down the 1/4 I was nervous.

Anyway's 1st pass was 13.08@107.61mph, 2nd pass 11.04@128.63mph, 3rd pass 10.79@133.26mph at this point I was soooo happy but then got a warning from the techs if I go below 11.5 I will get the boot.

I weighed my options and said what the hell, I'm going for the best since it's my first time!! So on my 4th pass I got 10.60@134.19mph, got the boot but I had a big *** smile on my face.

I want to thank Sean Ivey and Will at IVEYTUNE for all their hard work and expert advice to get me to where I am at, props to you guys you're the BEST!!!

nice man. first pass is funny, what did you do to get 13? The last pass prob made you the fastest/quickest car out there no? not many people showed up there with high hp cars.

Sean told me about this the minute you did it.

Thanks for the compliment's

tscompusa, the 13.0 pass I was nervous and didn't know when to leave. 60ft. was 2.46, On the 10.6 pass, 60ft. was 1.67. I still have alot of room to improve, just need more seat time.

I built on the 2 step and then let off, then just kind of feathered it out. I still have alot to learn!! Boost was at 34-35lbs.

Again congrats!

What amazes me is that you ran those times so easily and you had never run at the track before. Crazy!

Were there similarly fast stock appearing turbo evos there?
