No plans on race gas or E85. This is my daily driver street car build, it's not even a drag racing setup. I have an Evo8 for that. The only thing left for this car is a forged motor with a little more displacement and some suspension for the twisty tracks. No more weight reduction either. This Evo is too beautiful of a street car to ruin it.

I think these runs with daily driven street cars must be made with more reasonable tires.

I was thinking the same thing - street car should be street tires. At any rates it's very impressive to busy a 9 sec pass out of a stock block so congrats dude!

Slicks or not. Impressive with stock motor. He would never be able to put the power down with street tires so why even try.

+1000. Why spin??? So what is it has slicks. That's because the car makes so much power street tires wouldn't grip.

It takes 15 minutes to swap wheels. Really?!?!

Congrats on the runs Ryu! Fastest 93 + meth car Evo I know of

I would tell you to try E85 but it sounds like you are making enough power as is for the stock block to have lasted your years of abuse.

Congrats on reaching your goal.

Since your cars weights 3000 w/o driver, what is all the weight reduction you have done?

Well the first pass I hit the rev limiter before the trap @8700. The second pass I raised the limiter to 8,844 and hit it right at the trap. Third pass I raised it to 9k and that's when I noticed I didn't hit the limiter before I let out after the trap. I'd say about 8,800 rpms.

They are amazing tires for only being 7inches wide stretched to a factory size 8inch wide rim. I have never had trouble keeping the car dead straight in the grooves with them yet.
