This is the reason I want an auto for the Evo! Less things to go wrong and super fast shifts under full boost. Many DSM guys claim a whole second when they convert with the same power. Too bad you can only get them in Japan.

It was not the brakes, The first pass it made alot of boost and blew the tires off, the 2nd pass it blew the burst panel on the intake manifold.

I was PISSED off when I approached him.
I was working under my car when I distinctly heard a car doing a 1, 2, 3 gear pull, coming the opposite direction of the racing! I thought to myself, WTF is that? He had to be doing 75+ MPH. Not smart. I can say with certainty that David gave me him an earful as he happened to stop him right where I was pitted.

Thank you David and all your crew! It was an awesome event as usual and the best one so far in my opinion.

Clearly it was the TiC alignment that helped him kick a** in the autox! Well done Tim!

Well, I won't post them ALL here, but a few of the cool ones. Here's the link to the albums:

STM Gallery

Facebook (Saturday Photos)

Facebook (Sunday Album 1)

Facebook (Sunday Album 2)

Big congrats to Brandon Mastrodonado, Chris Cessna, Jesse Ford and Cory Bowers for bringing home the trophies and the cash!

Big thumbs-up to D-Sport Magazine for shooting two more STM cars!

I understand the 19th Annual DSM/Evo Shootout was the biggest of all!

Big thanks to the guys at Buschur for making this all happen, year after year, and to the shops and sponsors for putting on a great show. Especially to the racers, though, as we all know, and have witnessed, just how scary it can be each time you race down the track. God bless.

We had a hell of a crew this year and thanks to everyone for making it a great time!!
Already looking forward to next year!!

Depends on the turbo. We saw on average a 0.5 second increase in Jeff's car and while the Little Auto has never been a manual car, a very similarly equipped 92 manual ran 0.7 seconds slower mod to mod.

i think i saw you at the track walking past my car with a big *** can of race gas in a blue can lol. you looked really busy tho so i didnt say anything, plus im a bit on the shy side.

the ETS 1g drag car and Lucas 1g was super consistent the entire day. auto definitely is for the win for drag cars.
