Hi Guys,
Thanks for the support. The build is still very fresh and Mike has only had a handful of passes down the track so far. 8.41 is nothing to get excited about for a car at this level, however the video shows that it was far from the perfect pass. The car launched hard but Mike hit second too early which bogged the car badly (it just about stopped!).
Considering the 171 mph terminal and the fact we are still on a very soft tune up, the potential is pretty obvious. I'm confident that Mike will go 7.8X @ 175+mph pn a full pass with this tune up. Once we have some consistent back to back runs we will begin leaning on the tune and wind some more power into it.
This is our first time running a PRO RWD car and there is a lot to learn. We prefer to take our time and methodically work towards getting the car down the strip. This all takes time but there is no future in going out with the car set up on kill at the first meet with a new driver and risking putting it into the wall.
We have one more meeting this season on the 9th/10th of April and we would hope to crack a 7 second pass before winter. We will keep you updated.
Andre

Ufff... Rear wheel drive full chassis, just what everyone keeps telling me to do with my evo ...I just can't do it...NOT YET...ANYWAY jejeje. Congrats Andre great job . I know 7's are just around the corner, my friend Pepo the S2King from Puerto Rico was the 1st s200 to hit 8's late last year and just hit 7.50 on the 1st 3/4 chassis S2000 to hit 7's w/ the Honda motor and it's been in my mind for the last 6 months ...ufff
Congrats again Andre and the whole team
