Spark Tech Equipped Talon resets AWD Auto Record

A big congrats goes out to ALL those involved with getting this car to this point. Running consistent 8's is no easy feat and it is imperative that all components perform well together to get the job done. There is no doubt the ETS/English racing talon is ready to get the job done is 2011. We are proud to be on board with such a qualified array of sponsors.

ETS has worked some fabrication magic and the new setup is already shining. It's great to see on it's first outing of the season the car reset it's own record which was 8.67@167

Jeff called me yesterday from track side and was over joyed to say the least of how well the car was running. Even though they had the throttle body failure at about the 1100' mark this beast was able to click off these impressive times.

Most def big props on setting a new PB/record! ( i posted in the tuners thread but thought i'd give my congrats here as well)

Jeff, Lucas, Aaron, ETS, the rest of the English Racing crew and their sponsors sure do deserve it.

Can't wait to see what's in store for the rest of the season........

Car is sick.it would be hard to beat once driver gets used to staging with boost and gets decent reaction times.

Look for a now outdated article in Modified in July and the update in August.

Thanks guys for your support

Nice to see that us DSM/Evo guys dont care what it is as long as it has a 4G63 in it...4B11 I guess too

Gordian, that was with no nitrous to see if it would spool up without it. The car pulled an .027 reaction with the wheelhop pass, and Jeff is consistently under .100 reaction. There were quite a few gremlins chasing us sunday, TB shaft breaking, air compressor dying, generator dying, Alternator peacing out, etc.

There were some issues I was dealing with on the pre stage that wasnt in the beginning allowing me to flash the converter like normal, Once I get all the bugs worked out everything will be fine.

And to be clear we know about the reaction time, it wasnt the driver it was onboard gremlins that have since been resolved. Jeff had an 0.027 in the final against Timmy for reference.
