10s attempt in my stock motor/turbo Evo 9 MR...SUCCESS! (vid inside)

So, I've been in the 11's now for about a year and after running an 11.29 on street tires, I figured it would be time to get some slicks and try for 10s.

It was my first time on M/T slicks (26"x7"x17") and it took a little getting used to not being able to brake or turn.

First run: 11.24@120. Car and outside temps were hot. Fed too much clutch off the line due to drivetrain fears. Still my quickest ET ever.

Second run: 11.04@121. Car was cooler, air temps were cooler. Jumped off the clutch a little too hard, but man did it hook. Caught me by surprise and I may have short-shifted to 2nd. I thought I would have got 10s on this run, but fell into instant depression at reading the 11.04 timeslip.

Third and final run of the night: Air temps at about 65 degrees, motor was cool, I was determined. 10.96@121.4mph! Mission accomplished.

This is my daily driven car with 85,400miles. Want to give a big thank you to my friend, sponsor, and tuner, Jay at JSDYNO.COM, for all the help and support. I am not very mechanically inclined and I could not have done this without ALOT of help from my family and friends. It was a great day for all involved.

I want to go after the stock motor/turbo record at 10.88 (I'm less than a 10th away). If i get that, who knows. I may have to bite the bullet soon and buy a boring DD as I'm starting to get scared for the motor and stock Tcase .

No idea man. Never had it weighed. I'm guessing between 3000 and 3100 plus my 205lb frame.
