I'm not sure how to answer your question. It feels like their's no power steering. Its harder to steer at low speeds.

Tolerable to me and others are two different things. I don't think its bad but as you mentioned, Others think its a nightmare...

So how do I answer?

I drive it on the streets with no power steering and slicks and it drives fine. I don't think I would want to autocross it or anything.

So I guess IMO if your not a vagina, you will be fine.

There is a lot more weight loss than just removing the back seat and the spare tire
Didn't "gut" it and just removed back seat and spare huh. Try all seats except the driver, no carpet, no center console, lighter tires (slicks), no rear speakers, no rear seatbelts, no rear wiper and motor etc. I guess i did add some weight to it like the full 4" exhaust, AMS's 42r kit etc. But still.

Those two answers were exactly what I was looking for. Em, I'm built exactly like you and weight as much too. BTW, I just ordered that purple drag brake kit you had in stock today along with lots of other goodies like abs delete...lol. I'll post some pics once everything is installed.

Ryan, thanks for your input as well. I didn't think it was as bad as others claim. I probably won't be as light as you but def way under 3000lbs so I'm sure i'll be fine. This car will be lucky to see 500 miles a year. Congrats on the record and good luck with that 9! That would be epic and hopefully spark more interest in drag racing in the evo community!
