You mean to say side-view mirror block offs. Not rear-view mirror

Jim Kitasaki, known here as IndyEvo, created the Carbon Fiber front fascia "shutters" that Tom Powell used, and 9sec9.com sold while it was in operation. Jim K. still makes them, and they are the best manufactured parts around, like all the other things he makes. If you need his contact information, please send me a PM. I'll be happy to get you in contact with Jim.

Here's a link to what they look like: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ve...lable-now.html

Are these made by the same person who posted the EVO 8 version in the 1st post or your own creation?

Either way wonder how much of a difference they make with back to back passes with them off and on.

I did not make those Chris made them. I decided to make ones for the Evo8 because no one else has.

Ok thanks for clearing that up.

Both pieces look good.

I actually picked up a set just waiting on them to arrive

If I can get my evo ready within a week or 2 I may be able to test out angry evos back to back at the track. Hopefully the weather holds off.

Why put such a huge ugly looking thing on the car when u can use the ones that go behind the bumper to just block off the hole like what br made for front block off covers? What's the difference?

Sorry guys on the Evo 8 I think it looks like crap. On the 9 its a little better. But still. Why over the smaller ones.

The looks are subjective and you're entitled to your opinion, I hope you realize these are temporary items that get removed once you're done racing. The thinking behind these is to have the air pass around the outside of the car as smoothly as possible and avoid any turbulence or parachuting affect of the front bumper. You'll see a lot of drag cars with full fiberglass front ends with no openings to keep the car as aerodynamic as possible.

Like Creamo said, they are not ment to look beautiful rather beneficial. Directing air around the car rather then the pockets in the bumper. Buschur ones that sit behind the bumper are nice, but you either need to glue them on or use a fiber glassmold to hold them in place. Wanted to make something that could be removed after use.
