I keep telling people I don't have any secrets. And that's no lie.
I have my stationary rev limit at 6000 on this tune. I have the 17" DR Hoosiers. Inflated to 30 psi. I was doing as long of burnout as I can without passing the stage lights. Roll off the water box and pretty much practice my launch watching my boost. That way I get an idea of how much to let off the clutch to build more boost off the line.
This is where I love the twin disc. I tried this on ACT and needless to say, I was only able to try it once. The 10.71 run, I took the revs a little higher but only because I felt that the car wanted to. I don't normally take any gears past 7k but 4th.

In the incabin vid it seemz like ure not lifting on the throttle and hitting the gears perfect after 1st. Are you using nlts mod in evoscan on your evo?
Great driving! Im trying to break 11' s with my stock turbo. Best ive done is 12.4 110 mph 1.63 60ft in 100 degree weather. Its dwn to 50 now here!

Ron, every time I see that you ran 101mph in the 1/8th, my ***** shrivel. Seriously, wtf. Couldn't you have just thrown cams in your car so I wouldn't have to compete with your record? Such a bastard.

Dave, just go on a cooler day. Remember I was having the same issue prior to this. Highest I was able to do was 99 but consistently in the 98s. My best 1/8 mile speed was 102mph that day.
When I ran 10.84, I knew 60' was the only part I wasn't happy with. When I compare the slips, the difference in time was just on the 60' being better on the 10.71 run. From 1.57 60' to 1.50 60'

I don't lift. I don't use that rom neither. I'd say most don't need ntls. Carried over my drag race habits from the Honda days.

I'd like to break into the 9s with the stock longblock and stock appearing turbo but probably won't happen anytime soon. Or won't happen at all.

Damn that's sick!

I have a JDM VIII here in the Cayman Islands. All we have is an 1/8 mile. I wouldn't mind running times like those but I don't think that'll be happening any time soon :O

Your car is a lot lighter but I win either way since I tuned it.
You are on Sir. Never expected you to drag that lite chassis.
