Big Auto (Jeff's 8.35 car) weighs around 2180 w/o driver
Its gone up a little over the last few months between wheels and tires, aero, and some other changes we made in the car. Not sure if we can get anymore back out of it for next year though.

It looks like that final drive change helped out every part of the run. It seems like the car hooks a little better, gear changes aren't so close together, allowing you a little more time to reposition for the next one, then you're at a better spot in the RPM range at the end. very cool.
Also, beautiful pair of runs. not that anybody expects anything less from you

I don't normally comment. But that car is an animal! Very impressive!
P.S. pardon my ignorance, but does the track go downhill? Looks sloped in the 2nd vid.
Good luck on going faster!

Thanks everyone!
I have broken the spider gears for the LSD unit inside the stock rear diff. I had some custom shims made at a local machine shop to keep the spider gears a little tighter. Since then I havent broken anything else. Its a matter of time before the ring and pinion give away, the 3000 gt rear has a bigger and stonger ring and pinion.

As much as it looks like it and as much as we all like to joke about it, Byron is indeed perfectly flat. I even found GPS data somewhere on the internet to prove it. It's actually the nuclear fallout in the air from the nearby power station that makes the cars go fast there.

I've got some in car footage, so as soon as I get some time it will be up.
Thanks Mark, your kind words are very much appreciated, but I dont know about all that, LOL. Im not putting any money in the car this winter, so keeping up with those auto guys is going to be hard.
We got it from a dealer in WI, he doesnt sell it anymore. Hopfully we can get some fresh stuff for next year.
LOL!
