Rare Bugatti Veyron 1/4 mile footage!

I finally decided to find out about what these things are about. watched all of the vids online about how they're made. holy crap! ended up seeing the vid where the modded GT-R had the jump from 0 to 100 (something like that). Decided I'll probably be thinking about a GT-R one day (since I'll almost certainly never be thinking about a Veyron ;D ).
one day.
for now I'll just enjoy my little slice of heaven (she went in shop today for stage 1 of suspension mods)

i feel like its just a status car, people buy it to say "ooo look i have a fat wallet so i got a bugatti". the eb-110 was so much cooler. and for a million dollars you could buy any other car, build it to be better, and then buy 20 civics just for ****s.

I certainly respect the engineering required to build one of them, but I personally prefer the brute force and simplicity of the SSC Ultimate Aero for my hypercar dollars. Truthfully I would rather an AMS Alpha 12 GT-R or Underground Racing 1550 whp TT Lambo. The Bugatti is definitely a status symbol, so I am actually surprised to see it at the drag strip.

I respect anything that can do a 10.1 @ 139 STOCK... and was that on street tires?!?! If so that's double impressive.. on top of that.. the point here is that it's not a drag car by any fashion, does your 10.1 evo or civic top out at 253? The point of this car is that it gets it ALL done. Sure I can't afford it, and the owner has a good chance at being a royal dbag, but it's not the car's fault

That is some rare video right there. I've been trying to see a legit 1/4 run by one of these. A guy across the highway from where I work used to daily drive one to his company everyday a few years ago.
I never see it parked there anymore, drew to much attention. But, I occaisionally see him driving around the Ramsey/Upper saddle river NJ area. The color scheme is his company colors, Hytorc.
