Whats impressive is that this car does what it does (performance wise) and the motor is tested to last well over 200,000 km (as seen in the video were they're assembling the motor) will your 1000 hp evo last that long??? no.....no it won't, could you cruise at 170mph like its nothing in your evo??....no....no indeed you cant.

This motor makes 1000hp in stock form...1000.....its been said that the engine is capable of HUGE amounts of power, but cooling the engine becomes a problem.

To say that this is "Not very impressive" is ignorant. Is it a status symbol?? sure it is, just like any lambo or Ferrari. Pretty much any Civic with a decent turbo set up can give a Ferrari’ a run for its money in a straight line. Is the Civic in the same league as far as track performance or as cool as a Ferrari??....well I certainly don’t think so.

No way you can compare a Evo not even to a GTR 2 diffrent worlds evo can't cruise at 170 mph with out blowing up.

i wasnt exactly comparing just trying to illustrate how i believe for 16 cylinders, 1000 hp is kinda weak to me. its a cool car and all, just not so incredible in my eyes.

Who cares. It's not all about the fastest 1/4 mile time. It's a rare car that is also a status symbol. Ya you could build an EVO or a Civic to run a faster time than a "stock" Veyron, but you know what, at the end of the day you are just driving basic economy box.

If you were worth a 100 million, the price of the car is no different then the cost of an EVO to you!

i feel like its just a status car, people buy it to say "ooo look i have a fat wallet so i got a bugatti". the eb-110 was so much cooler. and for a million dollars you could buy any other car, build it to be better, and then buy 20 civics just for ****s.

Tell me how long your 4G would last attempting 250mph at 1000hp! Please enlighten me. It's a 1000hp Daily driver that is doing this on pump gas! The new Bugatti Super Sport is over 1200hp now! It is very incredible what this car can do on street tires in full street trim and be as reliable at is.

LOL, come on guys, LOGIC

the 1/4 mile run is on stock tires..... its not on racing slicks

take a 1000+ whp horse evo = gutted weight = times ranging from mid 8's to consistent low 9's...

your comparing a street tire buggatti - heavy - 1000 engine and its running 10 flat in 100% stock form?!

your comparison is gay.... like said before the ignorance of some evo owners is mind blowing...

you can not even remotely put the evo in the same league as a veryon?! To even think about saying them in the same sentence is insane.

Waste of money. You could turbo a miata or vw cabriolet, or even a Saturn Sc1, put on a pink t-shirt, maybe some running shorts, and SMOKE a veyron.

Same goes for any car ( and I hardly doubt any of those mentioned **** boxes would be able to run even close to the top speed the veyron runs at..)

Does that mean that those crap cars are better than evos? M3s? Lambos? Ferraris? Why do you own an evo instead of any of those cars? By your logic, your evo was a waste of money.

Agreed. 10.1@139 bone stock and weighing 4,4XXlbs? Impressive.

Imagine that thing on E85 with a tune, but still stock everywhere else....

Makes me a little happy to know that with three less turbos, 12 less cylinders, and that the amount I've spent in mods wouldn't pay for just one of those Veyron's tires - I'm only 4 tenths off it's ET. As happy as that makes me, I'd drive my Evo off the nearest cliff if it meant that I'd get to own a Veyron.
