Alan szabo your one hell of a driver. Anywhere i can find your build. I can only manage a 12.3 atm with stock 8 (9.8 hotside) turbo and stock cams. But i think the 6 speed is hurting my times most

HKS 272 Cams
Full Race Exhaust Manifold
Buschur Street FMIC
Speed Density Tune
Tilton Twin Ceramic clutch
Walbro fuel pump
PTE 1200 injectors on E85
Spoolin up COP
Buschur 3" Down Pipe
Greddy Stock appearing cat back (car is super quite)
K&N Filter with 3" straight pipe to Turbo
Buschur ported stock intake manifold

Im pretty sure thats everything thats on the car.

3 things you should change if you want to run faster times:

1. Cams - stock Evo VIII cams are, well, unfortunate.
2. Turbo - stock VIII turbos are also unfortunate. Get a IX turbo.
3. Get a 5 spd. The 6 spd is weak and terrible . I tried underhood bushings, shifter base bushings, and no lift to shift to no avail. Missed shifts all the time and sometimes even granny shifting wouldn't help. My 6 spd melted at 60k miles and it was the best thing that happened to me. Either a stock or built 5spd will net you quick, consistent shifts and lower ETs.

I agree with everything except the statement in bold. Although they are not as popular as the IX turbo, in the right hands they do well. Take Ryan Jenks Stock VIII turbo that went 10.5@128 for example.

I am shooting for 10's on an 03 9.8 hotside turbo, so we will see! Anyone know whats the fastest someone has gone on a 9.8HS or is it just factored into the "Stock VIII Turbo" category?

I don't believe that anyone has gone quicker than 10.5x. I know Curt Brown had the record for quite awhile. STM may have beaten it, but not by much. Your car is going to have to get pretty friggin light to do better than a 10.5 on that turbo.

Went last weekend and made a few passes. Track was ugly wet, humid and no traction but oh we'll. Best run was 11.009 @ 124.97 with a 1.7 60'. Felt like I needed to learn how to drive again. 1st gear just spun and spun and spun some more. I'm more after the mph in the 1/8 and 1/4 mile. May should have a better condition. I'm limited to only a few tracks that will let me run without a cage. Sucks traveling a few hours only to get kicked out on the first 2 passes. I won't bother being on the list just yet.

Change

Not yet. Aluminum driveshaft, rear diff mounts and mustache bar are waiting. Might also try e98. When I ran 10.70 I had e68 according to my zeitronics ethanol analyzer.

I'd say 80-100 lbs less than a stock RS. I drove the car to the track with Hoosiers on, 3 kids, 1 booster and 2 child Recaro seats. Unloaded the kids and kid seats and ran the car.
Major weight dropped would be from bumper beams. The rest are small stuff like mini battery, a/c fan, extra horn.
