Please help me choose tyres.

Hi.

I need some help choosing drag tyres for my car. and want to do it right the first time..

The car have gone 11.01-140 with a 60" of 2.12 on street tyres ( spinnig tru 2 gear) on street tyres ( 90'F day) 3200lbs

The tyres i was using was 23" high, and i was 100rpm under the rev limit in 4`th at the end. so tyre size might be a little to small for next season ( about 30hp more)

The tyres i am choosing from is:

BFG g-force drag 225/45-17 ( 25" hight)
Nitto nt555r 245/50-16 ( 25.65")
Hoosier qtp 26/9.5-16 ( 26" ) ( how much does these expand? not 100% shure i have room for them)

Hoosier DOT drag radial 225/50-16 ( 24.8" )

( reason why i included the hight is because i`m not shure how much it will effect my time since it will give me longer gear. ( max hp is close to rev limit)

So my question is: witch tyre will be fastest? is the g.force tyre faster than the nitto tyres even is it`s thinner?
Anything else i need to think about?

Just had to ask here since you guys seem to know what you are doing when it comes to drag racing 4wd cars..

I think he is from the UK or Australia because of the way he spelled "tyre."

Yeah they are good, but the sidewall is to stiff if you need a tire for strictly for drag racing. The bias ply qtp is much easier on the drivetrain.

Sorry, but i`m trying the best i can.
I`m from sweden, so this is not my main language.

But how much will the taller gearing affect my 60"\trap\et?
My guess is that a 24" tire will give me about 100rpm under the rev limit.
So my guess is that i should get a tire that is about 24" tall.

But the tire i guess will give me the best 60" is also the highest of them.. qtp 26"

From what i have read, the nitto tire is the one with the least greip, but is does have a better size, ( 245/50-16 compared to the other two that only is 225... )
Will the wider tire compensate for the lesser grip? or are the other tires still better?

Sorry about all the questions, but trying to learn here..

I ran BFG DR's on my Z. Lasted a long time and were ok to run on the street as long as it wasnt raining. Preload the drivetrain and you won't break anything.
