Thumbs up 11's tonight

well, I have been itching to get to the track to run my car... I finally got out and hit an 11.777 << lucky 7's I had a basic dynoflash done by Al when I was at the AMS meet. I'm still running the stock clutch! Mod's are AMS fmic, APS turbo back, Piper 265 cams, ported head, 750cc injectors w/ 255lph fuel pump, sbcid 3 set at 22lbs running 100 octane. Now this was a base map and I was running super lean up top, I have to get this more fine tuned and run again, I'm sure I can hit a 11.4 or so.

1.591 60ft
4.800 330 ft
7.489 1/8 et
92.15 1/8 mph
9.816 1000 et
11.777 1/4 et
115.06 1/4 mph

timeslips will be posted soon

this does sound possible..

however, if u ran at gld today, they were having timing problems.. the 1.59 60ft for one is incredible!!.. but it is doable.. not as bad as that other guy that did a 1.2 60ft at gld today...

at least your trap 115 makes a lot more sense than his 11.85 @ 109

I ran at US41 tonight, couple other Evo's were out there as well. My other friend hit an 11.8 @ 117 with basically the same mods, no dynoflash but SAFCII.

How are the piper cams working for ya?

I was planning on going with them as well, but need to save up $ for the headwork as well.

Piper's are working well... I'd like to get this car tuned out before I can say if I give them a thumbs up. I might try a dyno session testing cams out. I'd like to see how the Piper's stack up against the HKS, Tomei's and Jun's.

thanks everyone I got there at 9:15 and they closed at 10pm, I only got 4 runs in. I ran just when I got off the highway, spun the heck out of my clutch and ran a 12.0... let it cool down and ran a 11.9, next run I missed 2nd and shut it down, then I hot lapped it and ran a 11.7. I believe I seen Jeff, he has the Phil's Inc. logo on the rear quarter panel right? Adam was there with his Galant too.
