Still not as fast as my 15.031 at 91mph
I don't understand why other RA's aren't running the same as me. Even stock I ran a 15.6 I've never been slower then the 15.6's when my car was stock. Now a bad run for me would be a 15.2 - 15.3 *scratches head*

I'm running with the RRM intake only, but that's still not my best time with just intake, If that reaction time was say in the .3 range with the same launch I would be like 15.3. It's all driver error so far, I'll get it figured out soon though

Your Reaction Time has nothing to do with your ET. You could sit there and wait 10 seconds before you finally go, but that doesn't mean your time will be a 25.7 1/4 time. You keep saying if your RT was better, your ET would be better. They have nothing to do with eachother.

the clock starts when you cross the "eye" that goes across the track... He's right, you could wait 5 minutes, but they'd just kick you off the track. The fastest ET doesnt always win in NHRA drag racing, its the first one across the finish line that didnt redlight the start. Thats why R/T is so important. it has nothing to do with trap speed or ET.

Well, last night I did get a .334 and a .478 reaction time, but I didnt launch good on either, one I spun my wheels straight through first, the other I kinda just bogged down and had a slow pull.
Lots of room to improve!

All my reaction times are .300 or better. You need to get better at your RT but like I already said; the RT doesn't affect your ET. What you need to practice doing is redlighting on purpose. That way you'll get familiar with what you have to do to NOT redlight but still get good RT's. One of these times you head to the track, try to purposley redlight a few times just to see how much you can drop those RT times down. That's how I did it. I used to have high RT times as well when I first started going to the track. Good luck, tell me if my idea helps at all.

R/T is only good for bracket racing or having a psychological advantage over someone trying come from behind (try to force driver error).
