I was the one that asked about 7's with pump gas. I'm a pump gas kind of guy and that is all I run. What do you have done to run in the 7's if you don't mind me asking?

Actually, 2/100ths off But yeah, frustrating! I was more than happy though, this track always netted me 2-3 1/10ths slower in my 3000gt and the best the EVO had done (on a 50 degree day, but minus catback and injectors) was 8.11 @ 83.14 en route to a 12.70 @ 106.82. When I pulled the first 8.04 @ 87.6 I almost crapped my pants and knew that I'd hit a 7 that day, but oh well...
Btw - I also prefer to turn the tires over rather than slip the clutch. The catch is that you have to ENSURE that you turn the tires over. Best 60' in my 3000 was a hard enough launch that the ***-end stepped out. 122k miles and never had a transfer case problem even with 275s. I've got handfulls of 1.7s in the EVO including a 1.74 spinning every time.
I've seen a signature stating 298 at the wheels and a 107mph 1/4 mile pass so I'd say I'm close to that number having run 107.12. At 88.6 through the 1/8th and gaining the same in the 2nd half I'd be at 111.7.

8.321 @84.94 mph.
ran faster when I was spiking to 24psi and tapering to 20 psi before, just for the 1/8 mile, then i would slow down dramatically on the 3rd and 4th gear getting slower 1/4 time for some odd reason.
I think I ran like 7.9, at 88mph before I got my mbc and the clutch.
I got better 1/4 after the act clutch and mbc though... which makes me think just now, maybe it'll be better for me to take the mbc out...
maybe it's the clutch that's helping with the 1/4 mile time, not mbc...
