There may be a benefit to launching in Snow mode - I think it locks the center diff a little earlier giving more traction. I may be a little off, but from my understanding the only differences between the settings is how quickly the AWD kicks in. But I also think it's all in the millisecond range of difference.

i've done it few time's and i kept burning the clutch, i guess i am just not ready for it. every time when i try to launch my car, i always think about what if i didn't do it right and i break the TC? lol it's just a fear that i have and it makes me ride the clutch a little be4 letting it go completely. i just need more practice.

Technically, you are mistaken,I'll do my best to explain
Asphalt-Relatively the most active(locks and unlocks most often) but also the tightest.. The clutches in the ACD hold tighter
Snow- Stays locked most often, but with the least clutch pressure so thhat the axles are still able to turn different speeds on low traction surfaces.
Rain-in the middle on both.
