regular shoes are ok.. but I really like how much more I can feel with a good set of flexible & thin-soled driving shoes.... doesnt need to be fancy, I think you can find cheaper than 90 bux.

I use short OMP shoes, love 'em. I only really use them when I go to the track...

Yea I'm surpised no ones mentioned Pilotis. They have a bunch of new shoes that even have a little bump on the side for better heel-toe action. I have a pair but theyre a little small...

They look nice but for some reason they don't seem like they would be a true driving shoe.

For me, they are pretty standard. Over time (like all shoes) they stretch a little too. If you're torn between lets say 10.5 vs 10, i'd probably get the 10 and run the laces looser.

Karting/track/autox shoe:
Puma Future Cat Mid Pro P:

I love this shoe especially for karting because it has a split heel design and you don't get tired having weight on the side of your achilles.

Casual/regular driving shoes:
Puma Romas

I have like six pairs of Pumas... love these shoes they are so comfortable at a reasonable price!! I got my Romas for around $30 bucks a pair...
