using hand brake at light with your auto?

i just got a lancer and picked it in auto cuz im kinda tired of stick. my last car was a stick. im so used to chillin out at a light. you think its bad for the auto transmission or the car itself at all by pulling the hand brake at the light or is it better to just hold my foot on the brake ALL THAT TIME!!!

sure it might be a lazy habit

It really doesnt matter if you use hand brake... People who use hanbrakes at the stop lights are the ones who want to make sure that when somebody hits them from the rear, they wont be pushed forward that much..
