Exciting new features on Ecutek based Dyno Flash

Guys - just recieved a update from Ecutek today on the Evo Flash. I am pleased to report that they have come through with more promised features and codes unlocked.

The best of all so far is the two step rev limiter adjustment

Also, there are many other great functions - battery offest - intercooler sprayer adjustment - collant temp for closed loop - speeds for boost solinoid on and off - acceleration enrichment

There are others there also - more when I have more time to play.

Ecutek is a great product and I have gotten great results with it thus far.

For those who are interested in a premimum reflash product which is suported by a top notch company this is the best on the market.

I contuinue to offer it custom tuned on the dyno for $650 which included the one time license fee. Future re-tunes do not require a new licence, its a one time deal. The normal retune prices apply.

I am proud to be a dealer for Ecutek which is an amazing product also on the Subaru platform.

Al, how much to do a reflash of the Ecutek on my MR. Also, how do those new features benefit my car? Thanks

Did you read mine, I was asking reflash price, since I already have the Ecutek. Thanks for the help, now go away.

Free without a re tune

This means - if you have a Dyno Flashed Ecutek flash and you want me to add in the new features to your tune - its free

If you have changed parts and need the fuel and timing maps adjusted the normal retune prices apply - $350

Very cool!!!

Any news on the end-user adjustable stuff? Last I heard, they were waiting to get the dealer version nice and polished first.

An after thought of my last post: How long do you need to play around with the new features to get them working well?

Thanks Al for clarifying that. I was just curious what it would gain in horsepower doing these changes. Free is free and new is always better! I think I will have to have this done.

Al,
Forgive me if this is a stupid question but I have no knowledge of ecu tuning.I have a MR and I'm in the process of having some simple mods done to my car(tbe, ported exhaust manifold,02 housing, jdm MR bov-maybe cams and wr turbo but waiting to hear how people like it).Anyway my question is what is the difference between a custom tuned reflash and a Ecutek flash.I'm very leary of having my car tuned but I know that if I go with cams and turbo I definitly need a tune.Thing is I just want it tuned and be done with it.I live in Ca.and the gas is crappy 91.What are your thoughts.

Your help is appreciated,
Thanks

Is there any progress on adding a 2-step rev-limiter / launch-controller on your DynoFlash application? I'm sure many of us are waiting for you to hopefully enable this feature soon.

Al,

Any chance of getting a re-flash at Buschur on Friday or Saturday before the shootout to add those new features? I think I remember you washing your car there last year before it.

Thanks,
Trev

I talked to ECUTEK about a month ago and they told me it would probably be third quarter this year and their would be a discount if you already had a flash. Give them a call @ 514-298-0366. If you do, let us know where they are at with it.
