I am not suggesting anything

I am merely "calling the ***** and strikes"

My favorite quote on these matters is "it is what it is" and that about sizes it all up

Take it with a grain of salt

My idea with these posts is to share VALUABLE dyno sheets which are obtained at great effort and expense.

People can draw their own conclusions on what the data means

I am not going to try and spoon feed anyone "smoke up their ***" as one great tuners says

The peak number is not much to see but look at the power under the curve

That guy CT9agsr or something like that is making 390whp/420tq with stock turbo and 9.8 with BR stg4 and Alcy kit (running meth I believe).

Also, I could have sworn Ive seen multiple people making 400whp+ on the stock turbo with just race gas and high boost...

Lol i dunno man, every car is different but depends if you had maybe boost leaks, bad plugs, etc.

I made 346 before my BR FMIC, Im hopefully hitting the 350 mark now and Ill be upgrading to 280s soon (with gears) and a new manifold and 02, Id like to hit 365-370whp on pump gas/reflash, well thats my goal. But now this damn 20G idea is killing me, Im just afraid of the surge aspect...

So theres a bear in the woods and a rabbit in the woods and the bear says to the rabbit

"when you take a sh_t, does it get on your fur"
"No" the rabbit replies

So the bear wipes his a_s with the rabbit......

HA HA HA.........................

i have tried so many times to post about the white rabbit without writing something sarcastic....but now.....this turbo, in my opinion, has become a joke.....

Joke or not, it's the only option out there if you want a stock appearing turbo that doesn't make the car undriveable at part throttle on a road race course. It won't make 430whp or make a 9 second pass, but it does make the car really responsive and driveable with a little more top end without sacrificing surge or boost threshold.

i feel the white rabbit turbo works well for what it was designed for. On a properly setup car it has been shown to make good numbers. If a car has issues (as many do) then it isn't a fair comparison. This shows that there is a issue with the car by the fact that it took a 29psi spike and a 50shot to get to 400whp.....doesn't anyone else here notice that a stock turbo car would do prolly 430 whp or more witht he same setup.... there was something up with this car mechanically or other.... just my .02

That couldn't possibly be it, considering Al is at the pinnacle of Evo tuning.

I would like to see that particular dyno sheet off nitrous but I still think this turbo has been getting an unneccessarily bad rap. Yes, intial expectations were ramped up, but beyond that this unit when properly setup holds consistent boost, does not surge and allows you to maintain a very flat tq curve across.

A friend locally made 390/390 atw on 110 leaded without headwork with the usual bolt ons and 272s, UTEC tuned. At the time the car was tapering off to 22psi up top with the stock actuator, now the car holds 25psi all the way with the uprated actautor which is an absolute necessity when attempting to hold this type of boost. He also trapped at 118 with 2.3 60s babying the car all day at the e-town shootout.

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...50&postcount=1

The above sheet is indicative of what this turbo is capable of, a flat 400+whp from 6k-8500, maintaining 300wtq at 8krpm. That is the type of car that is a force on the street and at the track. Nothing out of the ordinary in his mod list in the above link beyond the EMS. By no means peaky and indicative of what makes an extremely fast all around car. Ofcourse everything is debateble but I do not see a stock turbo being overspun to 28psi and tapering replicating that powerband.

The topic sheet posted also shows a car with a very broad powerband from 5500 on but the addition of nitrous and the poor boost stability exhibited skew the results.

Since you were tuned on Buschur's Mustang dyno the numbers are going to be a lot lower. Tuning is not about numbers as I am sure you must be aware.

On the dyno jet my own car makes 660 whp and it makes only 580 on the Buschur dyno
