Anchorage Alsaka Trip - Need decision on date ASAP !

I want to do only evos on the 16th - we need to move quickly in order to accomidate everyone
Once all the evos are sceduled - then we can fit in the MR2 and WRx on the 17th and any remaining evos - I have not just yest booked my return flight so I am not sure how long I will be there on the 17th of when I am comming on the 15th

3:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

+2 on 2nd or 3rd week of August or so from me and James H. for the trip! In addition, some of us have already arranged to take the a day off during the week for this tuning trip.

Hey Al, its me Ger. Reyes, the 15th & 16th of August works for me. 
It just makes more sense because of our unstable weather up here. If you can come sooner, just let us know I guess, but that Tues & Wed would be great.

Alaska trip
Well things are looking good if you guys do it on the 14th maybe the 15th I would possibly make and join you guys if there is slots open. I am more than willing to drive to Anchorage to get my car tuned by AL. I am just waiting for you guys figure out exactly what days before I put my money where m mouth is. I drove my car to Alaska in April 2003 and it hasn't had a chance to go anywhere after that and as far as mods there are no real big name shops that I can trust when I leave to my next duty station. This oppurtunity would be perfect time for me to get it tuned. Sorry I talk to much about things that matter a great deal to me. Just let me know and I will bring the VIII and IX.

I am waiting to allow a few more to chime in about the date but it seems we have a majority for the August 16th date which works fine with me

Next step - we need to start looking for a location
I usually prefer a hotel or motel which is near highways - preferable out of a urban area - something on the outskirts which is near roads that will be moving freely mid week
We dont need to drive very fast - most of the tuning is in 3rd gear a highway with on and off ramps is usally perfect

There is a Hampton Inn or motel 6 near where I live and is close to some good stretch of streets and is not too far from the airport and close to both of our highways. It is centralized to all of Anchorage. Let me know so I can get you numbers of the hampton or motel 6 or another place. Or I can call around and get you price quotes there are other hotels in the same area also. However, I think the 2 mentioned would be most ideal. Let me know....
