New Dyno#s EVO IX Tucson AZ

Just wanted to say thanks AL for the great tune. I spoke with you on Saturday at the Hotel. Anway ran the Evo on the dyno again at IA, same boost as indicated on autometer gauge (25.5) psi and a full tank of 100 octane. Numbers were freaken incredible, I dyno'd 308 whp and 328 tq in April on pump with your mail in flash tune.

Well today with the 100 octane laid down 372 whp and 381 Tq on one run and 368 whp and 389 tq on the other. My only question is when my car was tuned before the AFR were solid at 11.2:1 with the 02 sensor in the test pipe. Today on the 100 octane and using a sniffer(not sure of calibration)in the tailpipe, it was about 12.0:1 going to 12.3:1 @ 5200 rpm on one run and near the same on the other. Is this normal going to race gas? Are the afrs normally leaner at the tailpipe? Anyway, no knock no pulled timing and not sure of dyno calibration but the number coincide with best trap speed here in Tucson of 115.60 mph.

THIS IS A MUSTANG DYNO BTW.

Props AL

Rob,

Thanks for calling me yesterday about your dyno numbers... I honestly think that you have one of what I call " freak of nature Evo". At least we now can make sense to those exceptionally fast trap times you trapped in Tucson 5-6 weeks ago(115.5 and 115.6mph).

We are very happy for you Rob. This shows one more time how strong and exceptional Dynoflash tuning is. Congrats Rob!!

I dont think he has a freak Evo I think its due to good build on Robs part. No half assing on that car.

Those AFRs are a litttttle lean but I dont think anything to be worried about since you are not knocking and are using 100octane. I hit 11.9 AFR on 93 pump gas with my last dyno, made sick power, everyday reliable.

I spoke with the owner if the dyno, he said that the sniffer at the tailpipe reads .5 leaner than the 02 so the AFR's were not as lean as I thought. When the car was original reading and tuning was done on the same dyno, it was with a wideband in testpipe. So leanest point on scale on boost is 11.7 and pretty much 11.4 everywhere else.

sick numbers rob. Cant wait to dyno mine after the first of the year. Keeping expectations low but Hope I cant put down at least 320/350. Crossing the fingers. Going to run one pull at 91 with stock boost and one with 109 at 26lbs of boost so we will see.

Sweet, let me know. Spoke with the owner and he said the dyno is still running the calibration used since April when I had the car tuned by Al, so weather aside should be comparable.
