Here's the link you asked for, 3000ways. But you'll continue to claim BS because there isn't a time slip and the thread got locked by crying Evo owners.

3000ways and 007.....grow up, seriously.

Why do some evo owners have such a complex?

Competition is good it usually makes a better product for consumers.

The only thing I have to say to this whole thread is that the STI has a 2.5L and the evo still using the 2.0L. They brought in the STI cause the WRX with its 2.0L could not hang with the evo. Rules of rally state that they have to be a 2.0L to be considered a ralli car.

Yeah locked because of Evo owners and the general asshattery of ppb.

Should be interesting to see what this year will bring as it warms up.

This year will bring the same thing as it always did. EVO winning and STI still playing with their selves. AMS will rule like always and I am going to ram my car up every STI's *** all day and night long.

omg guys stop! the cars have been rivals before they even got to our shores. Stop acting like some one find some thing out that has not been going on since both the cars came out. Both cars got there pros & cons. Tack both cars to track and it will be neck to neck race.

Who cares anyways, by the end of 2008 scam artists like al gore will have half the world convinced that your high whp automobile contributes to a completely unexistant climatic crisis.

Have fun driving your fast toys because in 2 years it will be a 120wtq/78whp battery powered go cart

What page is the actual time slip on? I made 380whp/385tq on that same dyno with my stock 16g turbo in 90 degree weather. The cars might perform close to the same but that hasn't been the case until the 07' sti (IMO). I personally hate the looks of the STi but love the sound of them.

Yes, a drag run is in order, and some roll runs as well. Time to quit qrguing and start racing.

If the 2.5 had the same turbo as the IX and the TMIC wouldn't get so heat soaked that would not be the case.

Dunno, the ej207 is one sexy motor. 8K redline, very stout. . . so smooth.

BS housing on our GT35R? You have got to be freaking joking. ALL GT35r's surge just so you know. Either down shift or don't load the car so hard in higher gears/low RPM situations.

I hate to go OT but I hate ignorant politcal statements...Al Gore is not going to take away cars...he's actually trying to do something good for our environment, cant say the same about our current president. In 2 years you wont be able to drive because Bush and his buddies from the oil company that are escalating this bogus war will make gas $8 a gallon.

Alright back on topic....Im so surprised to see one little dyno result can open a can or hornets nest. They both are good cars and the 07 STI got alot better whats to argue. None of you fanboi's are going to get it through the others head one is better...it still hasnt happened in 4yrs, we just know the EVO has always been a step ahead....now they might not be OMG the world is dying...could the STI be catching up
