A very nice looking Talon. Stealthy.
It was like Al's car in that, if you put street tires on it, it could roll up next to you at
the light and you would never suspect - until he ate you up.
Al's right; he was also a class act.

Alot of people were asking about the car, and I am sure the times will improve.
But you are right, everyone's vision is different for their car, and to have an 11.5 sec car that can hit the roadcourse is a worthwile accomplishment.
I am in no way trying to deminish, the accomplishments you have made, in fact I am impressed. You are still the #1 evo and as a matter of fact in addition to running your mouth (which you do to the pleasure of many and the chagrin of a few :-)) you back it up with a very good effort at the track, alot don't show up. Can't argue with the finish you made today. Congrats again, and of course I will see you at the track.
As for the other efforts, drag is the big thing now in the US, and alot of people will be focusing more on that. My friends over at TTR are more focused on the drag end of it, and we will see soon what they can offer to the evo community in terms of R&D for high HP parts and such, they are looking to have fun like everyone else but of course there will be competition between groups.

Also the back 1/8th of that guy makes no sense 100 to 123 - not enough power there to go 10.6
My evo was doing a solid 125 mph trap speed yesterday (98 in the 1/8th) and would have had a hard time to do 11.2 even if I dumped the clutch at the time and speed shifted every shift - my best time was 11.6 - shifting easy - and it weighed a even 3450 with me in it
I would like to hear some details about what kind of tires the guy who claims the 10.6 was running
I am sure some evos will be running 10.6 real soon but I just don't see it going down with one which was running a 123 mph trap speed

We posted the timeslip. There are things that have been replaced with titanium components. Also , we did not have the spare tire in the car, but seriously, we didn't take anything out of the interior. Our ET in the 1/8 correlate the 1/4 mile ET. And we hit 100mph in the 1/8. The MPH at the 1/4 is not correlating because of the X-fer case issues.
Good run. Maybe we can set something up where all the quick EVO's can gather, share war stories and run HEADS UP at the track
The owner intends to back up the ET.

BTW the vendor who built the car said it weighed 2900 with a full interior - which again makes no sense to me as it would take major weight reduction extreme measures to get a evo to 2900 lbs

Get your car together April 24th there is a shootout at Etown NJ. It is one of the years Mitsu shootouts.
I will tell you flat out I don't beleive you guys ran that time, I won't bull****.
Any video? And what was the MPH on those other runs where the transfer case didnt break, surely you have 2 timeslips with the same date and car # do you have both timeslips?
Would you mind posting them here?
I have seen too many people bull**** and pickup slips off the floor at the track.
