Remember there are lots more WRX's and STI's than Evos - once the word gets out in that suby community they will come !

Frankly - I find it ridicuolus that they continue to restrict me to this forum - even though I have been on good behavior for a real long time. I have no problem with Turbo Trix posting here or else where.

I am sure that people who are real racers will understand the concept of rules when racing !

Eg the auto x guys who cant even add a boost controller in certain classes - etc

dude relax. Al is organizing an event that turbotrix wants to be in. this subject is public and has to do with everyone in this area that wants to race. stop trying to cause more problems because as you can see, you are the only one that had a problem with them posting there.

Well - they can speak for themselves - however I have seen them running in the NHRA "modified" class at NHRA events and the "Hot 16" class at the summer slam - - NOT the street tire class

In order to participate in this event cars will need two matching seats in the front, carpet, windshield wiper, head light and tail lights that work, a full exhuast that exits the rear of the vehicle and street type DOT approved tires (radial only) - any slick or bias ply slick will NOT be allowed. Drag radials ARE allowed. A valid registration is required.

NOTE - Nitrous IS allowwed. There are NO weight restrictions.

I am in discussions wih the track about adding a third class to the event which would open up to ANY Evo or WRX - such as vehciles that are not registerd or which are clearly not NHRA street class legal

ALSO - it should be noted - - there is some possibility that vehicles that do not fall within the rules for this event may be able to participate in the Import vs. Detriot Iorn event which is being held the same day - (although that is also limited to "street muffled vehicles"

I will be posting more information here next week on what we can work out for the more highly modified vehicles - it would be nice to have a 3rd class
