E85 if you are driving the same distance/driving style, and don't change the closed loop target you WILL use 20-30% more fuel. 18 for e85 is on par with 24mpg on 93.
All flat highway, 120 miles a day, for 3 days straight.. I will admit I rarely hit boost and may have been open loop for all of 10 seconds total but not flooring it.. Granted I tend to overfill a bit and the gas light was on for about 40 miles. I live on the edge!!

my personal best is 20.2 mpg with minimal boosting on highway driving. So, theoretically:
20.2 X 14 gallon tank= 282 miles.....

I wonder how much altitude affects the mpg.

E85 is not too bad on gas mileage after all, I thought it will only average 15mpg, the way I drive if I am not pushing the car I always use the highest gear possible, I would use 6th gear while cruising at 50mph.

Combustion cycle vs. wind resistance will be a bit of a tradeoff but I am leaning towards it being a bit less a high altitude.

I don't know how you guys are getting such high mileage numbers on E85. The best I've ever gotten is 19 mpg on a road trip with pretty steady driving.
