Casper- from what I have heard the Rockettbrand stuff is good but I suspect will be similar in cost to the 110- this is likely very dependant on who the dealer is- Try going to;
http://www.rockettbrand.com/ under the dealer network tab- then call them. Jack Day is pretty good to talk to if you call the main number- he is the one who worked with the early planning, testing, and the Ford folks on the E85 Mustang Bonneville record run.

If I recall correctly you can pick up E98 in eastern MI for under $4, mabe even a lot less if you choose to make your own.

Oh, my bad...you can blow all of those up you would like. I don't really like the X all that much, although they are beginning to grow on me.

Get that setup or a GM Ethanol sensor and gauge and you will never have to worry about variations from pump to pump, you will know what is flowing through your car at that second. I keep a 5 gallon jug of E-98 around and if it is still the winter blend, I add a little E-98 to boost the ethanol content up, if it is too high, then I just add a little 93 octane to bring it down. Easy. Simple. Safe.

Thank you, lets keep getting all the info out there so we can all make educated decisions. I am going to look into this, would probably cost me some loot to run it, but might be worth it in the long run...I would need fuel system upgrade, COP (need anyway), and maybe one of those new J&S Safeguard units, as I am running an Autronic that doesn't have knock detection.

In cali I have only filled up at one station and it's been a constant E82-E83 the whole time.

I've tuned a bunch of track cars on E85 and our shop Unlimited Time Attack car runs on E85, straight from the pump, with no issues.

We do have an advantage here in California in that we do not get winter blend.

Use common sense while tuning and it's good to go.

No real track tune should ever be on the edge that it could cause issues with 10% ethanol changes.
