Fuel filters for e85

I was wondering what in line filters are people using for e85? I've searched around and I've read that 10 micron is the way to go but finding one that doesn't have a paper element is hard it seems. Do you think running a 40 micron stainless steel element filter such as this one http://www.summitracing.com/parts/rus-650133/overview/ would be ok? Also would mounting it under the hood between the rail and the stock metal feed line be ok ? If not where ?

I have mine right after my double pumper in the rear of the car under the car. Or you can run it in the engine bay by the rail either doesn't matter. Most important thing is its accessable.

This unit flow 5gpm or enough to support ~3x Walbro 400 pumps. Ran this same filter on my Z and have a few friends with fast cars running it as well.

I was able to start tuning the car tonight and it is feeling strong at 30psi so I should be able to hit the dyno soon for some updated numbers.

That thing is absolutely perfect!!!!! I was simply going to run a basic 10 micron filter from JEGS. This is WWWAAAYYYYY better and more of what I want to run. Thank you for linking this!!!!

Well my current setup is a walbro 416 e85 , fic fuel rail , fuel lab regulator , fic 2150's and now I am looking for a filter to run inline. What filter are you using cursedsm? And will the one I linked be ok? It's 40 microns but it has a steel element so I feel better using that over a 10 micron paper element that will break down.

Well it functions as a water separator, has a very low micron orifice size, and by the looks of it, has plenty of filter material to hold debris before restricting flow. I may get one later on.

I ended up buying the fuel lab 6 micron fuel filter with the fiberglass element. It was a little pricey but worth the extra protection.
