Have got a 93 EVO 1 CD9A Lancer, with an Evo 3 forged engine. Have recently set it all up for E85 and road tuned myself, and its going fairly well.

Have since been given a map for the car from the previous owner which was tuned for C16 race gas, has anyone run C16 tunes specifically the timing maps with E85 ? I am not experienced with C16 but I hear that E85 isnt far off it in terms of knock resistance, etc.

Reason I ask is the C16 tune has quite aggressive timing - 15* at 4500rpm peak torque, 25* at redline, setup for 24 psi boost on a GT2876R, compared to my E85 road tune which is at 9* peak torque and around 20* at the top end. On the dyno the C16 was pushing 300kw at the hubs, I would estimate my roadtune at 250kw or so going by road dyno estimate.

i dont see the point you asked the question and answered at same time.
e85 map will never match c16 maps for timing and afr,e85 burns slower,think about it if you are asking why your c16 maps is higher.
