Jason emailed me earlier this week and said he should start working on it today. Let's hope he can do it soon!

 

I have to find someone with a Turbo Lancer on Long Island.. I want to both work on a definition and tune a car besides an Evo...

 

Wish I was on Long Island to help ya out. I can't wait to get those definitions and then I can start tuning my turbo. I am knocking like crazy and so I can't even enjoy it now.....

 

how did u pull the rom off?? im having problems with it....

 

I just choose an EVO definition and then saved the ROM that was generated. Even though the definitions are incorrect and misinterpreting the ECU data, all my ECU data is still there, so the map and definitions can be extracted. At least this is what I'm assuming.

 

so we can not tune with the evo definition? i thought there was support for our car?? when i save the rom with existing definitions i cant not see anything....when i click on the high octane fuel map....say the definitions are not correct blah blah blah.....i save it as the evo7base.....what do i need to do??

 

Yes it can. I have two friends helping me make a definition for this but they are not car guys(computer guys you can call them). I learned some but not my ideal pass time.
I can email the file to malibu if you want a copy.

 

There is "supposed" to be support for the 03 Lancer OZ, but both OZ definitions still generate wrong and messed up maps for my ROM. So I just picked the EVO7 definition, which still generated messed up maps, and saved the ROM. Hopefully I hear something back today from Jason@Mynes

 

You probably should have used the "Lancer AT" definition as a starting point and worked from there, at least the incorrect maps should only be off by a few bytes but at least be defined.. Can you send me the ROM you extracted? I can take a look at it.

 

i dont see Lancer AT when i select what map to use.....the only mistu auto that i see is the 2003 Eclipse AT....

 

Yeah, there was no option for "Lancer AT" - only two options for "2003 Lancer OZ". I guess I could have used one of those, but the EVO7 definition gave me closer results than the Lancer defs. PM me your email and I'll send you my ROM.

 

I get my turbo this week and then I just need to install it. I"m in NY and guessing I"m the closest one to Long Island.

 

I work in queens (not car related) but I live out on eastern long island, after you get the turbo installed (and a wideband, don't forget that!) if you feel like trekking out here, or you pull your ROm and send it to me, I can work on it for you..

 

I think Lancer OZ will be your closest match to start with.. you should have a PM with my email address shortly..
