Injector scaling and latecy for different injectors.

Although its nice to have a starting point, every car is different and you will be best served to do some trial and error adjustment.
The first dozen posts in this thread talk about how to go about getting a starting point and then going from there.

I was planning to install the injectors and roughly calibrate them before I drive to get tuned (nice easy drive 4 hrs away) .. I don't want to foul my plugs before I get there. I'm still waiting on a wideband o2 so I can't tune the injectors myself yet.

sweet..thanks Bryan! I'm also going to have a walbro fp installed too, is there any other adjustments I can make for that also?

Do I + and - the latencies?
TIA

Sorry yes I mean 0.024, doesn't always + and - correctly, but will display the nearest value if you type something in. Yes I would change them as a block. If the cruise fuel trim is sorted first with the injector scaling then the latency would need be increased if the idle fuel trim is positive.

I can give you the settings I'm using, the problem is their just a guideline, but the settings I used gave me map AFR's real similar to actual AFR's
Keep in mind I'm running a blowthrough MAF so there may be some adjustment necessary for the latency at higher RPM.
Injector scale: 665
Battery Voltage: (some of the values are stock at low voltages, kinda figure the car is in bad shape at 4 and 7 volts.. )
4.69: 3.312
7.03: 1.680
9.38: 1.392
11.72: 1.104
14.06: 0.960
16.41: 0.696
18.69: 0.504
This was from trial and error, you should get decent results with this.

Question.
Has anyone altered the voltage range to better affect deadtime adjustment? I mean rather than using 2 values (11.72 and 14.06) why not take out one of the real low voltage (I am assuming the 4.69v doesnt really need to be there) and scale in an adjustment value of lets say 12.7 or something. Is this worthwhile or a waste of time? Or is it something that is being done that I missed in this thread?

Hi Jack,
Are those scaling and Battery Voltage, are for the Precision 1000cc ?
