After reading this whole thread and taking notes. I never caught why you would change the latency values outside of 14v. If your car idles and drives right around 14v then why change other values on the table unless you're having problems with startup where the volts may initially be lower?

I never got it either, when scaling mine i made the same adjustments incrementally in each voltage range and after about 2-3 hrs trial and error got it where my long term trims are between 0% and -.78%, I'm sure its an interpolation thing or something of that nature?

ideally in case you had an alternator problem the car would not be pig rich or lean, it would still be "in spec".

Most evos run 13.8v to 13.6v at WOT so keep that in mind as well.

Anyone have the latency/scaling for PTE 780 injectors? Are the latency numbers in the AEM wizard accurate?

LTFT Mid -2
O2 Feedback(STFT) +/-3

4 7 9 11 14 16 18
3.504 1.872 1.224 .960 .744 .552 .432

injector size = 680

Hey NJ i have used these setting on two different cars and they worked great!

Off topic - How can i get my hands on a #67 pill?

On PTE 680/780; how does the opening mS 1.130 and closing mS .998 relate to Latencies in ecuflash? is opening mS the deadtime at 14v?

I JUST posted solid numbers for use with ECUFlash for the PTE/Precision injectors....use them and you will be happy.....the stuff on that spreadsheet is good for a baseline...thats about it....

I've used those latency numbers with 609 scaling but ltft lo is +11 (lean) and ltft mid is -11 (rich)

This is what I'm running now lo+3/mid-8:

PTE680
injector scaling: 622

Latencies
4.69 3.888
7.03 2.136
9.38 1.440
11.72 1.056
14.06 0.812
16.41 0.624
18.68 0.480

I still would like to know how the opening mS 1.130 and closing mS .998 times can be used to calculate latencies in ecuflash?

Thanks Alan. I only produced 2 #67 pills and I have to test them to see if they work. I have not had the chance to test anything of late.

Yeah, I would like to know that as well. PTE posts the opening and closing in mS for their injectors. How can we calculate latency from those numbers? Anyone?

I did some reading last night and found this on yawpower.com

"The amount of time required for the pintle to move to the fully open position will always be greater than the actual dead time of the injector. The injector dead time is related to the difference between the actual dynamic flow, and the theoretical dynamic flow." So I'm interpreting from this the PTE site info is kinda useless. I'm calling PTE next week if I get a chance with my injector serials to see whats up.
