I think if you increase the value, you compensate MORE for latency so it adds more fuel essentially.. I may have it backwards since its been a few weeks since I tried this.
Thats correct. You are increasing the injector deadtime that the ECU takes into consideration when calculating firing time.

I was thinking the injector pulse in evoscan was related but I'm not guessing it is :\

I'm going to play around with this and see what happens Thanks!

Ok so I'm making myself some little "charts" to go by when adjusting some of these settings. If you think these could prove useful let me know. It will be interesting to see what is working for people.. I can adjust the chart as more info comes in. This is only the 11.72 column.

Injector Battery Voltage Latency 11.72v column

Percentages used

0.0336 5%
0.0672 10%
0.1008 15%

0.168 25%
0.2016 30%
0.2352 35%
0.2688 40%
0.3024 45%

0.9072 35%
0.9408 40%
0.9744 45%
1.008 50%

Actually this may be useless.. you can't get such fine adjustments once you enter these number into the map. Still was fun lol

Hey justchil, the injector latency of 0.72 is standard for JDM evos

Ummm dont you think you should be using the 14.06v Colomn. My car runs around 14.5v @ idle. I have NEVER seen such low voltage unless the battery is low.

at 900-1000 you should see around 12-13 volts... nothing a bit of logging can't give you though.. every car is different..

Hey guys... I got my injectors scaled pretty good. I didnt have much time to mess with it this weekend but I did what Jack said. Scaled them to about 680 and got the cruise trims around 14.5-15.2 A/F. Still taking about 20% of fuel out with the SAFC but I think I will have to do it in the flash because closeloop is messing me up because I will run like 17-18 A/F which of course retards timing while crusing. Idle I used the Latency Battery to add a tad more V @ idle. Still gotta do more but Im almost done

Really? Because my Turbo timer is reading about 14.2 and my SAFC is reading 14.4-5 or so. Well anyways I changed my 14 volt colomn and it changed my idle

Not surprising, but remember that the RPMs can also drop below that under varying load and voltage does drop.. There's no wrong answer, just some cars vary a bit...

Is this not the voltage given to the injectors not the actual voltage of the battery? I mean I can monitor my battery voltage no problem.. but it really doesn't change.

I'm going to try bumping mine up around 14volt. Everything is pretty good now except idle.

My latency settings as of right now:

No its actual battery voltage.. It really only makes a difference if your car idles below 1000rpm.. If its around 1000 or so, it seems to be around 14 volts (I checked this last night) But it does "Tween" the values, so you should be adjusting the desired cell plus the one above and below..

well actually if you check the AEM injector wizard.. they put the latency for the 75lb injectors at
9v 1.32
12v 0.72
14v 0.54
16v 0.37

so your 12 and 16v is close ..

then again they put stock Evo injectors at 0.9 at 12v
