A tune with EcuFlash (by someone)

EIP posted an ad for EcuFlash tuning on NorCalEvo, and I took them up on it- I spent all day yesterday (12 hrs, approx 60 runs) on the dyno. Before and after:

HTML Code:
        BASE TUNED
WTQ 220.9 @4000 293.8 @4250
WHP 245.9 @6500 290.2 @6000
More stats:
Mustang Dyno, Air temp 101.5F, Evo 9 MR, 06
Mods: MBC.
I'll post graphs after I'm home and near a scanner.
Thank you Paul @ EIP, and his guys who bought me lunch! (I wish NCE weren't down right now.)

Great numbers, everything looks good. But why did they take 12 hours to tune a car?

Dang!...12 hours for a tune?

Nice numbers for a basically stock evo 9 in hot weather.

How much was it?

Oh, the 12 hours thing, right. Well, we spent a lot of time trying to get the ECU to hold and taper smoothly, before giving up and switching to the MBC. It would start to hold, and then give out at about 23psi, dropping to 13 or 14.
I think that once the solenoid opened, it was unable to close again, because of the high boost. I logged on the way home as well- 0 knock, very clean. Pretty constant 11.5:1 AFR throughout the rev range, richening up to 11.0 at 7300rpm. TQ is a little peakier than I'd like, but we'll do some more playing with it, and switch back to ECU control of the boost, but with a better solenoid. That should let us only taper to 19psi at redline, and I think the car will make it to 295hp. (For anyone outside of CA, this is on 91 pump gas as well!)

Wrong-o. My car was virgin. It's not even aligned properly yet! Actually, I'm just outside of Alameda, so I'll try to get Razorlab to give it a look-over. "Can I get a witness?"

Based on the calibration of this specific dyno it is actually only 10-15 whp less then a dynojet dyno. So we are looking at just over 300 dynojet, which is about right for a IX.

Yes sir! And it was farking hot. We went through a whole tank on the dyno- I had to keep an eye on Paul so he didn't turn on the AC while sitting in my car on the dyno.

How much did it run you for the flash and tune? I've been trying to decide where to go and Vishnu @$250 for an ecuflash dyno tune has been by far the best deal so far.
